Some meal plans call for having tuna or salmon. Can we opt for tuna or salmon sashimi for these instead? Are we allowed to eat raw meat? Can we also use even a bit of soy sauce? It's only been two weeks and I miss Japanese food.

Hi pocky,
Yes, you can have tuna or salmon sashimi! You are allowed to eat raw fish, dip it in a little bit of soy sauce and wasabi. For the Phase 1 (first 2 weeks) you can enjoy different kinds of sashimi but not maki, sushi (because there's already rice in it) or tempura (because of the batter).
