Stevia alternative

Hi. Instead of stevia, is it okay if I use organic agave syrup? thats my sweetener nowadays since it has low glycemic index, plus it is organic as well.

@chvaldoz: I see Sweet n' Fit stevia at Puregold and Savemore supermarkets. Also check drugstores like Watsons and Mercury Drug.

Yes, organic agave syrup is a perfect substitute for stevia. But is contains about 20 calories per teaspoon, whereas stevia has 0 calories. Our team also recommends coco sugar which is low GI too.

@joanaprille: No, muscovado sugar has 20 calories per teaspoon, same as white sugar. But coco sugar and muscovado sugar are better alternatives for white sugar.
Take note
Stevia > coco sugar > muscovado sugar
