Today, dr. Chauchard mentioned that :
Daily consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables lessen the risk of developing serious diseases by 30%. However, I noticed that on phase 1 & 2, fruits in small quantity can only be eaten as a snack. Why is this so? Are we allowed to eat fruits in greater quantity and anytime we want to?

Hi artselle!
You can eat fruits everyday, but at a limited amount, because it contains fructose, a sugar that is further converted to glucose, our "blood sugar". Dr. Chauchard recommends to eat fruits daily, but at a certain time of the day only, specifically at 4 PM when insulin secretion is at its peak, so that it can be burned by the body easily.
